We hope to help get kids interested in fishing, the outdoors, and conservation! Details to come!

WBS staff also brought along Captain, the bald eagle who is sponsored by the Rod & Gun Club, for a visit. What an experience! We plan to continue our relationship with WBS, and hope to have them down for an Eagle Day at some point!

LWI REMINDERS  Vehicles, including ATVs and other recreational vehicles, need current lake stickers affixed to them to be parked at the beach and marina parking areas. Recreational vehicles not owned by property owners are not allowed in the back acres.  Glass bottles are prohibited at the beach and picnic table areas.  Dogs are not allowed at the beach area.  No fishing is permitted from the beach or surrounding area. Nobody wants a fish hook in their foot…ouch!  Property owners are responsible for the behavior of their guests. Please ask guests to observe the rules when visiting.  Please be patient at the gate. If a visitor is at the callbox, please give them time to be let in before you head out through the gate. Remind visitors that they must be buzzed in…no one should tailgate another vehicle through the gate!  Remind those in your household that trash should not be thrown out around the lake or along the entrance road.  Do not allow dogs to run loose. Several complaints have been received.  Remember to secure your belongings and lock your vehicles. There are have been reports of some thefts from unlocked vehicles in recent weeks. This is uncommon for the lake, so let’s try to look out for each other. If you notice something suspicious, it may be worth a call to the police.  Please observe posted speed limits in the lake and on the entrance road.
