It sure is a busy place. They have so many people coming on a regular basis, and we are excited about that. People are shocked to see that all the donations come from our member and not a business. We really can’t say thank you enough, Lakeview. Your donations are helping these people in so many ways. With the school year over and summer just starting, we anticipate even more coming. Please check the list of items that are needed, the stock pile is getting low. We will continue to say it, but we know thank you is not enough.

Sermon Summaries AM Speaker: Ben Cook Christians in Conflict - 1 Corinthians 6:1-8 Jesus spends a good amount of time explaining the right way to address conflict in the church. Most of it gets ignored. This is certainly the case for the church in Corinth. In their case - and ours - failure to live at peace in the church is ultimately a failure to adopt and enjoy the values of the world yet to come. A church filled with the work of the holy spirit, and peacemaking, is a slice of heaven.

We will be helping Mountain States Children’s Home by participating in the Change-ALife campaign. It will run through Aug. 12th and will help purchase clothing and food items which normally cost $62,000 a year. Mountain States Children’s Home extends Christian services to wounded children in an effort to meet their physical needs, heal their emotional hurts, challenge their minds and teach them moral principles, in order to reach the goals of reuniting them with their families or preparing them for independence.

The fishing expedition at S i l v e r L a k e i s q u ick l y approaching, on June 30th! It's a great way to enjoy getting away from it all. We are also encouraging you to bring your kids with you to join in on the fun. Do you know someone who has a kid that would like to come? Ask to bring them with you. Learning to fish can be a lot of fun and not everyone has that chance. Maybe you can be the difference for them.
