Have you been to the office on a Monday when the Food and Clothing bank is open? It sure is a busy place. They have so many people coming on a regular basis, and we are excited about that. People are shocked to see that all the donations come from our members and not a business. We really can’t say thank you enough, Lakeview. Your donations are helping these people in so many ways. With the school year over and summer just starting, we anticipate even more coming. Please check the list of items that are needed, the stock pile is getting low. We will continue to say it, but we know thank you is not enough.

Food & Clothing Bank

June is ending as quickly as it began! This month we had a lot of new people as well as our regulars. This past Monday, we fed 77 families, which totaled 290 individuals. Phew!! Thank you for your contributions.

AM Speaker: Ben Cook A Single Gift - 1 Corinthians 7:32-35 Church can be a tough place to belong and even harder if you're single. We spend so much time focusing on the sanctity of marriage, the noble pursuits of fatherhood/ motherhood, and the many, many, many, many different ministries that we have which are family-specific, that it can send a very clear message that God really only has a place for you if you fit into a nuclear family package.

Our needs for the upcoming month: Peanut Butter & Jelly Baked Beans Kid Friendly Snacks Koolaid Packets

Contrary to this, Paul challenges the church at Corinth to consider that being single releases men and women to serve in greater ways than their married counterparts. Being single is a gift. Embrace it!

Remember your change cans for the Mountain States Children’s Home!

Clothing Needs: Men’s Shirts
