Berkeley in Sociology (Phi Beta Kappa) and at U.C.L.A’s Fielding School of Public Health and is currently an advanced doctoral candidate in Applied Psychology Research Methods and Evaluation at Claremont Graduate University. Ms. Hilton has worked since 2000 as a research methodologist and analyst specializing in health policy. Her experience includes research on patient-centered care, evidence-based practices in integrative medicine, behavioral health in military context, program evaluation, and evaluation capacity building. Her approach to research includes mixed methods, combining qualitative and quantitative data using Atlas.Ti, Excel and SAS software packages. Ms. Hilton trains researchers in qualitative methods and computer-assisted data analysis. She has coordinated and led research projects for National Institutes of Health, National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Department of Defense, and Veterans Administration.
