Learning Support Co-ordinator Job Description Job Title:

Learning Support Co-ordinator

Term:

Full Time (Monday to Friday)

Responsible to:

Head of Education and Professional Development

Job Purpose:

To promote and co-ordinate the CICM Online Learning, Learning Support Service and Member Resource Centre in order to encourage professional development and qualification.

Responsibilities The major features and responsibilities of the post will be to: (1)

work with colleagues to prepare and upload content to CICM’s Online Learning Management System (LMS) and Member Resource Centre.

(2)

promote CICM Member Resource Centre, Online Learning, Learning Support Service and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) recording and certification in order to encourage professional development, qualification and CICM membership.

(3)

set up individual and company online learning programmes and arrange access and payment.

(4)

administer learner support arrangements, sourcing, training and allocating tutors, setting up learners, tutors and employers on the LMS, and processing contracts, invoicing and payments.

(5)

provide training and support for all LMS users to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

(6)

monitor progress and encourage good completion of programmes, qualifications and CPD certification in a way which celebrates success, links achievement to CICM qualifications and membership and encourages progression onto further CICM learning.

(7)

monitor the quality of service, and report on number of learners, course and assessment achievement.

(8)

provide support with education and professional development general enquiries as required.

(9)

be aware of the current business of the Learning and Development department and assist with any aspect of its work as appropriate.

act as an ambassador for the Institute and take every opportunity to enhance its professional reputation and expertise.

(2)

contribute to and help maintain a high working morale within HQ.

(3)

adopt a flexible approach to the work of the Headquarters and provide cover where, and when, necessary.

Person Specification Essential Characteristics •

Interest in training and qualifications and supporting people towards their professional development and qualification goals.



Good understanding of the importance of professional development and persuasive at promoting this.



Enjoy working with others to find creative ways to promote services.



Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, good numerical and analytical skills.



Customer-centred approach and effective at working with customers to find solutions.



First class administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.



Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and confidence working with IT systems.



Positive outlook and able to work well independently and part of a team.

Desirable Characteristics • Possession of relevant qualifications at Level 3 or above. •

Experience with working with databases and learning management systems.



Relevant occupational experience.
