Liberty Propane’s 100 Gallon Giveaway Official Rules Liberty Propane is awarding a prize consisting of one drawing for 100 gallons of propane. These rules apply to the 100 Gallon Drawing to be held on September 4, 2018, where customers can register at the Customer Appreciation Day Event being conducted by Liberty Propane on July 20, 2018. 1. Eligibility: Contest is open to U.S. citizens or legal residents, age 18 or older who are existing, residential propane customers residing within the delivery area of Liberty Propane. This contest is void outside of Liberty Propane’s serviceable area and where otherwise prohibited or restricted by law. Only one entry per household will be accepted. Employees (including, but not limited to consultants, independent contractors, and interns) of Liberty Propane, or its subsidiaries and members of their Households are not eligible to participate. 2. How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Enter for your chance to win while attending the Customer Appreciation Day event listed on the 11” x 6” post card mailed to customer’s address or email message send to existing customer. 3. Contest Dates: Enter to win at the Customer Appreciation Day events to be held at each district location; July 20, 2018 at Liberty Propane, 43 Lower Newton St in St. Albans, VT. All entries must be received by conclusion of business on Friday, August 31, 2018. Drawing will be held on or around Tuesday, September 4, 2018. 4. Prizes: One winner will be determined by a random drawing to be held of all eligible entries on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. The winner will be notified within 24 hours of the 100 gallons of propane drawing (on or about September 4th, 2018). Winner will be required to respond to the e-mail or phone call to acknowledge receipt of the prize. 5. Odds of Winning: Only one Prize will be awarded. Each entrant’s odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. 6. Limits of Liability: Liberty Propane has no responsibility whatsoever for, and the winner agrees to release and hold harmless Liberty Propane, their subsidiaries, and their officers, directors, employees, contractors and agents (collectively “Released Parties”) from, injuries, losses, damages or other liability of any kind that may arise from participation in the contest or from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize. 7. Winner’s Responsibilities:
The retail value of the 100 gallons of propane depends on fluctuations in propane pricing for Liberty Propane. The winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and for any expenses associated with receipt or use of the prize. Winner must take delivery of prize no later than December 31, 2018. In the event the winner owns their own propane tank, the tank must be in good working order and must comply with all applicable codes and regulations. Winner must provide proof of tank ownership. Liberty Propane accepts no responsibility or liability for the condition of the winner’s tank. Liberty Propane reserves the right to refuse delivery into any tank that has apparent defects or that is noncompliant with applicable codes and regulations. Publicity: The winner grants their consent and authorizes Liberty Propane to use anywhere in the world and in all forms and media existing now or in the future, their name, photographic likeness, city and state of residence, and a quote provided by the winner for advertising, trade, in promotional materials, on a winner’s list, and for any other lawful purposes without further compensation. 9. Official Rules: THE 100 GALLONS OF PROPANE IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. PROPANE WILL ONLY BE DELIVERED TO ONE RESIDENTIAL TANK AND CANNOT BE RESOLD. All federal, state or local income or other taxes are the responsibility of the winner. All federal, state and local laws apply. All materials submitted become the sole property of Liberty Propane and will not be returned. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. If, in Liberty Propane’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, Liberty Propane reserves the right at their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the sweepstakes, or to terminate the sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all transactions and write-in entries received as of the termination date. 10.
