LICENSE CONDITIONS Unaccompanied Juveniles Prohibited “Only juveniles accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (as defined by Section 125(2)(b) of the Liquor Control Act 1988) are permitted to enter and remain on the licensed premises (excluding the “Corporate Villas Area”). However this does not apply to the presence of a juvenile employed by the licensee on the premises otherwise than in the sale or supply of liquor” Section 125(2)(b) states the following: “A person shall be taken to be a responsible adult if that person was an adult who is a parent, step-parent, spouse, de facto partner or legal guardian of the juvenile or other person in loco parentis to the juvenile”. Note: A responsible adult is NOT an 18 year old boyfriend/girlfriend/ work colleague etc. Juveniles employed on the racecourse (including Apprentice Jockeys) must leave the racecourse once they have finished their duties unless they are accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. The Corporate Villas/Marquee/Orchard Area is an 18+ event. No juveniles are allowed in this area, this includes babies. The ONLY acceptable forms of ID are the following: A current Australian driver's licence with a photograph; A current passport with a photograph; A current Australian learner driver permit with a photograph; A Western Australian Proof of Age Card (will not be issued after 1 January 2015); A Proof of Age card or equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory; A current Western Australian Photo Card; A current New South Wales Photo Card; A Photo Card issued by an Australian state or territory similar to the New South Wales/Western Australian Photo Card. Please note - No other forms of ID will be accepted – including letters from government departments or a receipt from a recently renewed or purchased license. Patrons who look under 25 and fail to provide the appropriate ID will be refused entry to the racecourse. Security is briefed to refuse Juveniles entry to the racecourse if they breach the above conditions or remove them from the course if they have entered illegally. These conditions are a legal requirement and any breach may result in a fine to Perth Racing, managers, the licensee and the individual involved. Signs will be placed above the 5 entry gates to advertise these conditions.

Introduction Under section 126 of the Liquor Control Act 1988 (“the Act”), where a licensee suspects that a person on licensed premises is a juvenile, the licensee has a right to require that person to produce evidence of age. The following forms of identification are permitted as evidence of age: ·

a current Australian driver's licence with a photograph;

a current passport with a photograph;

·

a current Australian learner driver permit with a photograph;

·

a Western Australian Proof of Age Card (will not be issued after 1 January 2015);

·

a Proof of Age card or equivalent issued in an Australian state or territory;

·

a current Western Australian Photo Card;

·

a current New South Wales Photo Card

·

a Photo Card issued by an Australian state or territory similar to the New South Wales/Western Australian Photo Card

Increased security of licence cards

The Department of Transport’s (DoT) Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) business unit is enhancing the design and security features of all its licence cards as part of its commitment to secure identities and maintaining international identification best-practice standards. The cards will feature a revised design and enhanced security features to protect the community against identify theft. These security features will be equal to current international best-practice standards, to make forgery far more difficult and act as a deterrent against fraudulent activity and identity crime. The new cards have a range of overt and also covert security features, which are withheld to protect their integrity. As of 1 July 2014, these are the valid licence and identity card designs:
