THE OFFICE 365 SUBSCRIPTION  There is no minimum order for Office 365.  The customer pays upfront for 12 months of the Office 365 service.  The Office 365 Subscription is not coterminous with the underlying Open Agreement.  When the customer purchases Office 365, they receive an email directing them to the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) to retrieve their activation key.  Activation takes place at office.com/setup365.  The Office 365 Subscription term starts when it is activated, not when it is purchased.  When new users are added, the renewal date is “blended” in order to keep all users’ renewal date the same. The new renewal date is automatically calculated.

The Office 365 Add-on USLs are cheaper than the full USLs and are designed to enable organisations to “add on” Office 365 functionality when they already have:

 The M plan has a technical limit of 300 users. Be aware that a customer will be able to order and pay for additional users beyond this limit, but will not be able to activate them.
