Aged 22, Fritz Eiber chose the path
to self-employment and opened his
first 100m shop in the city centre of Wels. What 2
was his motivation, what spirit drove him to success?

“It was really easy,” he answers the question: “I had a clear goal, all I wanted to do was introduce ele-
gant lighting design for the private living space
in Austria. Driven by my interest in good design,
architecture and the beautiful things in life, my work was always a pleasure. I gained new insights and discovered interesting things, I went through life open-minded and carefree, never afraid of failure.”
There are 35 years between the early days, when he transported the lights from Italy to Wels and put them into shelves in his shop on his own, and now.
By means of exclusive lighting solutions for the
retail sector, the hotel industry & restaurant trade, business premises, nursing homes and private living space, Molto Luce has gained an international
reputation as a pro in the segment of high-quality, innovative lighting solutions.

was a crucial year for Molto Luce. The far-reaching decision to enter
into development and manufacturing of products
of the brand Molto Luce was made, a decision that proved to be key to the company’s success. A giant leap from a pure trading company to a hugely dynamic, technology-driven manufacturing company.
A decision that started the entry into international
business and opened new markets and made these developments possible.

Molto Luce’s manufacturing site has been in this location ever since, not far from the company’s headquarters. The luxury to establish manufacturing here in Austria and with it the ability to rely on our employees’ high European level of training and performance are reflected in the quality of Molto Luce’s products and the company’s reliability. The rapid success of our own products was also promoted by the radical technology change in lighting, i.e. the triumph of LED. Molto Luce recognised the potential of LED early on, has immense know-how in this sector as a result of many years of experience and has been able to skilfully use this edge for the benefit of its success. #8

Thanks to the laboratory we will be able to carry out an in-house lighting survey of all Molto Luce products resulting in up-to-date lighting calculation values being available for the majority of products which can be made available to customers for planning purposes.
