Lincoln County Health Department Photo Contest Regulations: Eligibility: The Lincoln County Health Department Photo Contest is open to all professional and amateur photographers. Photos must be submitted by the original photographer.

[email protected] by 11:59pm on October 31st, 2017
What to Enter: The Lincoln County Health Department is looking for photographs that depict Lincoln County to the photographer and to the community, which will be used on the Lincoln County website. Photos may be of individuals, scenery, places or events. Please note that if you choose to include people in your submission, you are responsible for obtaining the necessary releases from the individuals depicted, and must be able to provide copies of those releases to Lincoln County Health Department upon request. Do not submit photos that violate or infringe upon another person’s rights, including but not limited to copyright and photographs of people without the necessary consent. Do not submit photos that contain sexually explicit, nude, obscene, violent or inappropriate content, or images that involve putting any individual or animal in danger. Please submit your images to
[email protected] and include your name, contact information, and a brief description of what your photo depicts. A copyright release with authorization for Lincoln County Health Department to use the photo on our website and social media must also be included with the submission to be considered as a prize winner. Be in JPG, GIF or PNG format Free of all watermarks or signatures
Preferred format is as follows. If submitted photos do not meet the following requirements, Lincoln County Health Department reserves the right to adjust formatting of the image to meet uploading requirements for website usage.
Image resolution less than 60 MP Images in RGB color mode Image file less than 500 KB Image size between 1500 and 2500 pixels wide
Prizes: A prize will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners of the competition. Runner up photos may also be featured on the website. All photos used on the website will be credited to the photographer. Winners will be contacted once judging has ended.
