Lincoln’s Young Professionals Group Leadership Council Application Thank you for your interest in serving on the Council for Lincoln’s Young Professionals Group (YPG). The Council is comprised of young leaders, ages 21 to 40-ish, who represent the Lincoln community and businesses. The Council works to ensure that YPG fulfills its mission of empowering young professionals in Lincoln to create an energetic and dynamic environment of learning, networking and entrepreneurship. Council Eligibility: Interested candidates must be between 21 and 40-ish and a member of YPG. If selected to serve on Council, the individual must be employed by a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce member organization or, in the alternative, be an individual member of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. Council members must attend monthly meetings held the first Wednesday of every month, from 3:30-5 p.m. Council members are expected to attend 80% of all YPG events throughout the year. Instructions: Limit application to a maximum of three-typed pages, the first of which should contain only personal information. Respond to the questions in the order they are presented.
