Lions SHARE: Saint Leo University’s New Learning Eco-System In January 2017, Saint Leo will have a new online learning eco-system - Lions SHARE. Following is information on Lions SHARE and Courses (D2L). D2L has replaced Learning Studio. For additional information please visit our Lions SHARE page at https://goo.gl/jgFPhN.
Navigating to your Courses: After logging into the student portal (https://my.saintleo.edu) you will see a Lions SHARE link located under Online Services. Click Lions SHARE, then click Courses (D2L). The link will be added December 12th. Alternately, you can access Lions SHARE at https://Lions SHARE.saintleo.edu. When viewing Lions SHARE on a monitor, you will notice three columns from left to right: a navigation bar, an activity feed, and an information column.
Lions SHARE:
The navigation bar includes a link to access your Courses (D2L). The navigation bar also includes links to campus groups and organizations, student services, and more.
The activity feed provides you with updates on the things you care about most. The activity feed may include announcements about events, notices, and communication from groups you follow, students you follow, faculty, and staff.
The information column provides a snapshot of events as well as suggestions of connections you may like to make at Saint Leo based on your interests.
Courses (D2L): From the instructions on the previous page, when you click on Courses (D2L) you see Getting Started in the upper left corner of the page. Getting Started contains links to information for navigating D2L. Students, if you would like “training” in D2L, please visit both links to find instructions and training that will help you successfully navigate your courses. The two “training” links for students are D2L Student Orientation and D2L Instructional Videos. These two links will remain throughout the entire course to ensure you always have access to the D2L information and training you need. Faculty, access to your training will be in the Faculty Resources section. The training link is D2L Faculty Enrichment Course
Below you see a student view of the D2L My Home. Faculty members will find Faculty Resources below Student Resources. Students do not have access to Faculty Resources.
