Hello, I’m Kendal and that tall guy next to me is my husband, Kevin. We are a husband and wife team, shooting weddings under Midnightea Photography. I’m a born Calgarian and while I have travelled, lived and worked abroad, there’s something about Canada that keeps calling me home. I received a degree in Art and Design and have always loved the power of imagery and the ability that it gives me to tell beautiful stories.
I am lucky enough to share this passion of photography with my wonderful husband and a very talented photographer, Kevin Nakonechny. Kevin and I shoot all of our weddings together, resulting in a unique fusion and two professional photographers on-site. We collaborate on many other projects together and I couldn’t be prouder to have him as my partner in crime, in business and life. (Plus, I get to boss him around, which is always fun!)

The Big Day + How to Prepare Prior to your wedding, we will have a face-to-face consultation where we ensure everything is all set for the wedding day. Once the big day arrives, we strive to let things unfold naturally, shooting candidly and putting a large emphasis on fun (c’mon it’s your wedding day, you better have an amazing time!). Your wedding day should be exactly what you want and we’re there to help make it so. We will capture your love in beautiful, timeless images, right down to those delightfully quirky little details.

Po s t -We d d i n g + P r i n t S h o p After your wedding we get to work on your photos first thing (we are just as excited about these as you are! Well almost...). As our promise, you will receive your wedding photos 4-6 weeks after your wedding day (and not one day later). In 2016 we are beyond excited to launch our very own printing service – The Midnightea Print Shop! Once you receive your photos you can now choose to order additional items from your personal online gallery. In just a few clicks they will be delivered to your front door. Simple and convenient. Why the change? In the past we would deliver two sets of photos and leave it up to our clients to seek out printing services on their own. The setup worked, but it essentially meant more work for our clients. Late last year we introduced PixieSet, a beautiful new service for online galleries. With these galleries, we’re now able to offer our clients very easy access to Prints, Enlargements, Books and Albums. By carefully selecting our printing vendors, we can now guarantee the highest professional-grade printing services and a better value for our clients. After all, those precious moments deserve nothing less.

Pricing We have set up our pricing in a unique way to better suit your needs. With ‘A la Carte’ options, this allow you to pick and choose the elements that are important to you in your photography package. Every wedding day is totally unique and we get that! Simply add any number of ‘A La Carte’ options to our base ‘Midnightea Wedding Collection,’ creating your very own custom wedding collection. We have also created a Classic and Signature Package which include all the favourites. These are great options for clients who want a well-rounded package with great coverage but would prefer something perfectly effortless. For detailed pricing, please be in touch and we can meet up for a coffee (or wine!) date.
