There’s always room for cockles At Osborne & Sons we know that there’s always room for cockles - these succulent little gems are at the heart of what we do, fished from our boat - The Mary Amelia direct from the Thames Estuary.

Christmas Eve

The children are finally asleep and it’s time for the grown-ups to have a moment to themselves before tomorrow’s festivities begin... DOZEN OYSTERS Add a touch of romance to Christmas Eve with a dozen locally sourced oysters. For a delicious treat, add a squeeze of lemon and a dash of tabasco or a classic shallot vinegar. Try making your own shallot vinegar by mixing red wine vinegar, finely chopped shallots, sugar and water. Best made in advance, or lose the fuss and get it straight from us.
