Professional Experience Consumer Health Coordinator (October 2011-Present) National Network of Libraries of Medicine, Middle Atlantic Region (NN/LM MAR); University of Pittsburgh, Health Sciences Library System Responsibilities: The Consumer Health Coordinator has lead responsibility for developing, coordinating, and implementing consumer health information programs and outreach to community-based agencies, faith-based agencies, K-12 schools, and public libraries in DE, NJ, NY & PA. Identify populations (including minorities; military personnel, veterans and their families; caregivers; youth and the aged) where there is a need and/or opportunity to introduce consumer health information, and solicits proposals for training and/or other programs or services. Creates and encourages partnerships, and fosters existing consumer health collaborations and programs. Serve as regional needs assessment and evaluation liaison for consumer health initiatives.
