Club: FSC Falcons Team: U16 White Tournament: Kutztown and XL Sports World In her first indoor hockey season, Bross has soared with the FSC Falcons. She helped her U16 White team secure first place at the Kutztown Tournament and FSC-run tournament at XL Sports World, both in the past weeks. Bross’ willingness to learn new skills and build on her game each practice and tournament has led to tremendous growth, noted Kelly Broadway, FSC goalie coach. “Mackenzie has excelled this season. She capitalizes on communication with her teammates, motivates them, as well as instructs them in court play,” said Stefania Swider, U16 White Coach. “She shows patience in the goal and has improved on her ground play throughout the season.” Bross began playing goalie in 8th grade and earned the starting GK position for the Pennridge High School varsity team as a sophomore. In her spare time, Bross enjoys playing several instruments, volunteering as a youth soccer coach and assisting in CCD classes. Clubs share equal time in honoring Players of the Wk.
