Importance vs. urgency: instructions A ‘To do’ list will help you deal with tasks in order of urgency. But sometimes urgent does not mean the same as important. Some tasks may be important but not urgent. For example, you may have an English exam in ten days’ time. Revising for this is not urgent but it is very important. Study the table below and put some of your current tasks in the boxes in this table.

Make a To Do list Things to do: instructions Make a ‘To do’ list at the start of your day. Include everything you wish to do during the day. First, write a list of tasks in the box below.
