Course Content On this course you will learn how to offer clients beautiful makeup using foundation, contouring, cheeks, lips and eyes. You will also learn how to apply strip lashes, smoky eyes and a classic wedding look

Course Syllabus          

Design and produce specific make-up looks Adapting looks for young and mature skin Liquid and mineral base foundations Application of mascara, eye shadow and eyeliner technique Powder and cream blushers Lip liner, lipsticks and glosses Covering evening and bridal looks Smoky eyes Application of strip lashes including some glitter work. Health and Safety. Underpinning knowledge appropriate to skin and makeup

We supply brushes and makeup for all aspects of the work however, it would be useful for you to bring your own makeup and brushes to compliment your skills

Prerequisites/FAQ’s o Who is it for? This course is suitable if you have no experience in beauty or for those who do have experience and wish to add to your portfolio of treatments. o

What could this course lead to?

The above course could lead to full time, part time or self-employment within the beauty industry, working in a beauty salon or as a mobile technician. It is a great skill for the mobile beautician and can lead to wedding party bookings. o

Where English is not your first language, you are required to provide evidence that you have achieved ESOL Level 2 for all non SQA Certificated Courses and ESOL level 4 for all SQA Certificated Courses
