All Properties search – What do the different pin colors mean?

Blue pins indicate that a property has current activity either a “for lease” or “for sale” listing. Gray pins indicate that a property does not have current activity.

An orange pin shows the selected record. Simply mouse over or click on a pin to select it and receive more information.

Sales COMPS search – What do the different pin colors mean?

Blue pins indicate that at least one sales comparable is available for that property or condo. Gray pins indicate that a property or condo is currently for sale.

An orange pin shows the selected record. Simply mouse over or click on a pin to select it and receive more information.

Location bar Type an address, property name, state, city, market, submarket, zip code or more and hit Go.

Click the location button to center the map around your current location.

Click the Clear button to remove any existing criteria entered.

Zoom and pan – Use these three tools to zoom in and out of the map as well as shift the map.

Filters - Custom Use the Custom filter to draw a polygon that meets your requirements. This tool provides the flexibility to draw using boundaries such as streets, railroads, water, and more. The size and shape of the polygon is completely up to you. Search results will be limited to those geocoded inside your polygon. Multiple polygons can be drawn on the same map. To remove this shape from the map, simply click the Clear button.

Filters - Radius With the Radius filter, you can either enter a location requirement into the box along with a radius or you can click and draw a radius on the map directly. In either case, click the radius to edit the radius size. Multiple radii can be drawn on the same map. To remove this radius from the map, simply click the Clear button.

Filters - Corridor A corridor line such as the one depicted shows all the properties along a highlighted route. This commonly follows a street, but it is up to you where you want to click and draw the line. In either case, click the corridor to edit the corridor width (distance from the center of the corridor line). Multiple corridors can be drawn on the same map. To remove this corridor from the map, simply click the Clear button.

Filters – Select and Apply These filters provide a variety of options to narrow the search geographically. Simply choose the filter, use the arrows to move the available items (left) to the selected item (right). In most cases, multiple items can be chosen. Click Apply to allow the system to immediately draw the boundaries on the map. To remove the specified geographic filter from the map, simply click the Clear button.

Filters – Street Grid In both New York City and Chicago you can use a detailed street grid to target an area of interest. Simply enter the north, south, east, and west boundaries and then let the system automatically draw your boundaries.

To remove the specified street grid from the map, simply click the Clear button.
