Man Charged with First-degree Murder in Adams County Shooting 17th Judicial District Attorney Dave Young announced Monday the filing of first-degree murder, drug and weapons charges against Shaun Jeff Snow (DOB 01/19/81) in the shooting death of Casey Griego last week. Adams County deputies found Griego (DOB 02/13/73) shot on the floor of a garage at 7618 Grace Place in unincorporated Adams County on July 27. He was pronounced dead at Denver Health Medical Center. Snow is charged with first-degree murder after deliberation (F1), one count of special offender for possessing or using a gun during the commission of drug offenses (DF1), two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute (DF3), and three counts of possession of a weapon by a previous offender (F6). Snow was advised of the charges Monday in Adams County District Court. He is held without bond. A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. October 2 in Division L. The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual committed a crime under Colorado laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. ###
