Man Charged with Murder in Apartment Shooting 17th Judicial District Attorney Dave Young announced today that Seth Ayden Lawrence, DOB 06/05/94, has been charged with first-degree murder (F1) in the death of John Gorski. The charges allege that Lawrence shot Gorski, 55, at an apartment complex at 7131 Lowell Blvd. in Westminster on Jan. 19. Lawrence was arrested at the scene. Lawrence was advised of the charges Friday in Adams County Court. His next court appearance is 1:30 p.m. March 21 for preliminary hearing. He is held without bond on the murder charge. The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual committed a crime under Colorado Laws. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. See Colo.
