Responsibilities: The Health and Wellness Manager is responsible and accountable to the Director of Occupational Health and Safety for development, planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating Covenant Health's Health and Wellness Program; planning and maintaining systems and procedures for operating efficiency; and managing staff for optimal performance. This position is responsible to establish direction and priorities of the Health and Wellness programs within the context of Human Resources, and the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic goals and objectives of Covenant Health.

A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field to Health and Wellness Professional Designation in a relevant field to Health and Wellness Minimum five (5) years recent experience in Health and Wellness required Experience implementing Health and Wellness programs and strategies Experience with WCB and Insurance Carriers and working within project management methodologies Knowledgeable using Occupational Health & Safety software systems Supervisory experience with strong assessment, coaching and teamwork skills Sound knowledge base of Health and Wellness including current trends, issues, as well as, applicable legislation, regulation and codes Excellent time management, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills with the ability to adapt to and respond to a changing environment Candidate must possess a valid driver's license (travel between the Covenant Health sites is required)
