The Manitoba Environmental Youth Network is seeking Steering Committee Members! The Manitoba Environmental Youth Network is a unique project that is helping build a capable, knowledgeable and connected youth community who together create positive environmental action. Our project is guided by a youth steering committee which empowers and supports youth led projects and education in order to unite our community and their efforts. The steering committee is the guiding body, and also the creative mind of the Youth Network. We strive to have a diverse representation of Manitoba Youth that can help offer resources, support, inspiration, and collaboration opportunities in order to foster a sense of community and belonging for environmentally- minded youth in Manitoba. The details: Steering Committee will meet once per month in the EcoCentre Boardroom (3rd floor 303 Portage Ave, Winnipeg) starting in March 2018. We will discuss activities of the Environmental Youth Network, identify and execute green projects, and plan a youth conference! Free food and bus subsidies available! Interested?
