The Investment Adviser Association is looking for a motivated, tech-savvy, high performing coordinator to join the Communications & Marketing and Member Services Teams to support events, membership recruitment and retention efforts. The position will report to the Vice President of Communications & Marketing. Responsibilities - The coordinator will provide technical, logistical, and administrative support. The successful candidate will be responsible for: • • • •
Updating the association’s website with a particular focus on membership and events pages, with content provided by the MarComm and Membership staffs. Helping to maintain the association’s database through CRM data entry, running queries and logic to create email lists, reports, rosters, etc. Scheduling, managing and sending marketing emails; email template maintenance and updates, design skills a plus. Other tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate: • Is well-versed in Microsoft Office, has experience using a Content Management System and eMarketing tool for website maintenance and email template management, is familiar with CRM/database management. • Has effective verbal and written communications skills. • Exhibits good judgment and attention to detail. • Is comfortable balancing multiple projects and tackling unfamiliar challenges. • Is able to work well both collaboratively and independently, and be highly invested in the success of the team. Education and Experience - (an equivalent amount of training, education, and experience will be considered) • • • •
4-year college degree 2-4 years in a similar role HTML/CSS knowledge strongly preferred, willingness to learn essential Experience with Microsoft CRM, ClickDimensions, Higher Logic, Adobe Acrobat a plus
