MASTER PLANNING STEERING COMMITTEE Interested in helping shape the future? We may have a role for you!
HELP STEER THE MASTER PLANNING PROCESS We want to make sure the community has a voice in the upcoming District Master Planning process, so we are looking to assemble a Steering Committee consisting of school officials, educators, students, parents, city/county officials, fire/police department members, and interested citizens to help provide feedback, suggestions, and help guide the master planning process. This group will be essential in ensuring all stakeholder groups have a voice and the opportunity to be involved in this longterm planning process. Sound interesting? RESPONSIBILITIES
Long-term commitment, approximately 8 months Attend meetings (typically during early evenings) Work in a collaborative environment with multiple other stakeholders and experts Provide feedback to questions proposed by the design team and District Represent your stakeholder group and be willing and able to communicate feedback and updates to other members outside of the committee within your stakeholder group Do a little homework (we may ask you to think about an issue or question and bring your thoughts to the next meeting)

On average meetings will be held bi-weekly to monthly but may vary in frequency depending on the stage of the planning process. Meetings will start in August 2018 and continue through April 2019 Meetings will vary from 1-3 hours in duration. The first meeting will take place in August 2018. A final date and location is to be determined. Committee size will be determined by responses received and we may not be able to accommodate all interested parties due to size limitations.
