Led a medical student orientation organization centered out both creating a vibrant support community for LGBT medical students and health professionals and for representing and advocating for LGBT curricular changes at Stanford Medical School. Organized social gatherings, campus wide mixers, and off-campus LGBT retreats, created a Stanford “Out List” to facilitate mentorship opportunities, and helped run an elective course for medical students focused on “Queer Health and Medicine”. Currently in the process of drafting an AMA resolution to include sexuality and gender identity data collection in AMA sponsored surveys.
