I

n February 2017, my wife and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. We were so overjoyed but our joy was short-lived and turned into sadness as the doctor told us that there were complications with the child. He said that the baby had blood infection and was in ICU (Intensive Care Unit). We met a lady at the hospital who introduced us to Pastor Chris and his television ministry LoveWorldSAT. It was my wife who first watched the program of Pastor Chris Teaching. I was amazed to see and hear her so motivated and inspired through the sermon she watched. The words she heard automatically transformed her mindset and filled her with so much hope, such that she was determined that our situation was going to change. I was so eager to join her and watch the next program to hear what led her to be such a strong person all of a sudden. At the end of the program I called Pastor Chris prayer line that was showing on screen. I was ministered to by the counsellor who also prayed for my son. At the end of that call faith was restored in me and I believed that all things are possible with God. After a week the baby was out of the ICU and we could see that the baby was getting better but they had to run a few tests to make sure that all was well. He was then discharged from the hospital. From that day till date my son is healthy and growing very well. I would like to thank God for Pastor Chris and for his love and grace upon our family. As Matthew 21:22 NLT says “You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it”.

I loved that I could make someone’s day and life different. It was always my prayer that I could be a help somehow and make a change. Now, everyday I wake up and thank God for the opportunities He has given me to touch lives and make a difference in them.

What word describes you?

So when I had this lovely idea that I wanted to do music because I loved it so much, my dad and my mom would say “You are going to go hungry if you don’t go to school and get an education,” so I went about the business of education; going to high school and university where I majored in Physics.

I grew up within a family of six siblings and I’m the second of the three daughters, so we had a large family. My father was a civil servant and my mom was a teacher. So I grew as a child with so many people at home, which made for a very happy childhood. I had a lot of people to play with; it was a noisy and a happy home. I got born again at school when I was 16 at a time when I was still My parents taught me how to evolving. they said “Come along! Let’s go.” They were such happy people. When I got to the church, music was playing loud and I had never seen anything like that before. People were so happy and on that same day I got born again and filled with the Holy Ghost and that completely changed my whole life. I could say that God caught me early and that’s a good thing. When I completed my university degree, like most other young people of my day; I was on my way out of the country, going to make it big. And then I met my man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and he said to me “You can be anything you want, wherever you want to be. You can be a success wherever you are. It doesn’t matter the location, but it’s what is in your heart that leads you to success.” And so I listened to him and here I am.

Who is CHRISTIAN K? I am a Christian Gospel music minister, songwriter, composer, producer and music arranger. A member of Believers’ LoveWorld Nation and a music minister of the Loveworld Music & Art Ministry. I love the Lord Jesus and my passion for music started at a very tender age. My inspiration comes from my fellowship with the Holy Spirit and messages from my man of God, Rev. Dr Chris Oyakhilome.

What’S THE inspirATION

BEHIND THE SONG “Supernatural”? This song is the result of our Man of God’s messages. Last year in January, as the year of flourishing was declared by our dear Man of God, Pastor Chris, I decided to listen to a number of Pastor’s messages and one day as I was making my way home it dawned on me that there is a higher life in Christ: like Pastor would always says, “As He is, so am I in this world. I know who I am!” Suddenly I found myself singing ‘I am supernatural I’ve got the life of God’. That is how the song was birthed.
