MBA Director’s Message

Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society Fall 2015 MBA Inductees

As we begin a new year, there are many exciting developments occurring across the campus. The new fourstory, 96,500 square foot Rohrer College of Business building is well underway. The new building will transform business education in Southern New Jersey. Completion of this project is scheduled for spring of 2017. This past fall, we launched the Certificate of Graduate Study in Accounting. The COGS in Accounting provides students with the opportunity to obtain additional credits toward the 150 required for the CPA certification. We are also launching a new Master of Science in Finance program. The MSF program is designed for students to complete in 15 or 24 months. We are also in the process of conducting a strategic review of our graduate programs. We anticipate that this process will yield program enhancements and additional graduate program offerings in the near future. As always, careful course planning is an essential component of your MBA program. Please feel free to stop by my office, located in Bunce Hall, room 206. The MBA office can be contacted via email at [email protected]. We look forward to working with you over the coming year.

Sincerely,

James Jordan, MBA Director Rohrer College of Business Volume 28, Issue 2

that students can expand their knowledge in specialized accounting subjects, as well as obtain additional courses needed to reach the 150 credit requirement to be licensed for the CPA exam. The Certificate of Graduate Study is also ideal for those who have not yet taken the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). GMAT scores are not a requirement for admission to the certificate program. Students who wish to later pursue a Rohrer College of Business MBA may have COGS credits transferred into the MBA program.
