Mission Statement: Eliminate the public burdens - economic, social and health, of commercial tobacco use and secondhand smoke exposure, utilizing policy and environmental change to protect youth from all forms of tobacco, ensure equal access to tobacco dependence treatment, and eliminate tobacco-related health disparities Vision: A healthier Michigan free of all forms of commercial tobacco use and secondhand exposure. 5-Year Goal:  Reduce adult smoking rate from 23.3% to 18% [20.7% - BRFSS, 2015]  Reduce the number of Michigan high school students who have used any tobacco product in the past 30 days from 19.6% to 15% [17.6% - YRBS, 2015]
