eafLine Labs, one of MN’s medical cannabis manufacturers, provides relief to suffering Minnesotans who deserve a better quality of life. Dr. Gary Starr, Chief Medical Officer and co-founder of LeafLine Labs, will provide an informative overview on medical cannabis and LeafLine’s patient-focused approach to caregiving in MN’s new, innovative healthcare program. Attendees will gain valuable firsthand knowledge from the perspective of one of the country’s emerging medical cannabis leaders. This presentation will cover topics ranging from an overview of MN’s novel program, the sciencebased medicinal qualities of cannabis, cannabis’ controversial history, the endocannabinoid system and much more. Following the presentation, Dr. Starr will open up the floor to attendees for a Q&A discussion, and will answer all of your questions regarding medical cannabis. Dr. Starr brings a deep understanding of medical cannabis solutions and nearly two decades of clinical experience to LeafLine Labs. He currently serves in a variety of leadership roles in the American College of Emergency Physicians. This broad experience, guiding policy and working with national and state legislators, provides a unique perspective, which has allowed Starr to lead effective change despite the challenges posed by the intersection of modern medicine, business and politics. Starr completed his emergency medicine residency at The University of Chicago and his Family Medicine Residency at St Louis University. He received his medical degree from The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a flight surgeon under Special Operations Command.
