CORONA HIGH SCHOOL A Tradition of Excellence – Since 1896 ______________________________________________________________________________ January 26, 2018

Corona High School Parents,

Keeping you informed as soon as facts are gathered is important to us, for this reason we wanted to provide you with the following update concerning campus safety:

We understand rumors can ignite fear and uncertainty among our school community which is why it is imperative we reach out to you today with information concerning campus safety and last night's social media postings regarding Corona High School.

The Corona- Norco Unified School District has zero tolerance for any behavior that threatens the safety of our schools. The postings were immediately investigated by law enforcement and arrests were made. While these threats were not credible ALL threats made to campus safety are taken very seriously, and thoroughly investigated in partnership with the Corona Police Department. The consequences for anyone who chooses to engage in behavior targeting the safety of our schools are severe.

We thank the Corona Police Department for their thorough investigation and for their continued partnership. To reassure students and staff of their safety additional security and police presence will be on campus today.

Parents are encouraged to contact school administration if they have any questions regarding campus safety. This notice is also being emailed to all Corona High School parents.

Thank you,

Corona High School and Corona-Norco Unified School District
