We formed The Patachou Foundation in 2013 to feed healthy after-school meals to children affected by daily food insecurity. The Patachou Foundation will, in 2016, serve approximately 16,000 meals — all made from scratch, in our kitchen, by our staff, using quality natural, often local and organic ingredients. We don’t believe that high-quality food belongs to only those who live in certain zip codes. And, we understand the “hidden cost” of cheap, nutrient-poor food. This year with the help of over 125 volunteers, The Patachou Foundation will serve approximately 16,000 nutritious meals to children who, because of no fault of their own, live at or below poverty and suffer from near-daily food insecurity in our community.
