Skin Authority’s Beauty Infusion™ Collection tops our list as this is a gift that will keep on giving and the presentation is stunning. The collection comes with four infusions: Brightening, Hydrating, Anti-Aging and Clarifying. You can add one or two drops to your moisturizer or foundation. I prefer using the full concentration directly on my skin, especially the Brightening Infusion as it has Turmeric & Blueberry*. The collection offers the best value. Visit: SkinAuthority.com (Free of parabens, added fragrances, dyes, or animal testing.) *My skin feels smoother since using these products.

Books! These are two of the books I’m currently reading and they’re available at NewHarbinger.com Yoga & the Pursuit of Happiness A Guide to Finding Joy in Unexpected Places by Sam Chase In this book there’s a combination of Yoga, Buddhism and Mindfulness to guide us on our journey of life. I especially like the ‘Inquiry’ sections throughout this book (especially the Mindfulness Meditation, chapter 5). While it is a good book for yoga students, I also think it’s a good book for all students of life. Falling In Love with Where You Are by Jeff Foster Life is messy at times….and I often say that I’m ‘embracing’ where I am in the different seasons of my own life. Jeff mentions confronting our shadows and those secret parts of ourselves that we’ve denied and reading this book helps me to surrender, to be, embrace grace and my own divinity. Taking some time each day to read Jeff’s Poetry and Prose will uplift your spirit.

Lotions! This is one of my favorite gifts to give…a great stocking stuffer….and great for Winter. Three favorites (all natural, paraben free) that I’m using as I couldn’t decide on just one. The Jojoba Company (Australia). I was introduced to the Lemon & Coconut Hand Cream and had to try it as it’s from a family-owned organic farm in Australia and made with organic coconut oil, lemon essential oil and 100% pure Australian jojoba. It’s moisturizing and has a very subtle scent so I think the men will like this one, too. Visit: thejojobacompany.com

Body Bliss. I was looking for something with Jasmine and was directed to Sensuous as it has Jasmine along with Organic Grapefruit. It’s hydrating, absorbs quickly, smells amazing and yes, sensuous, too. Visit: BodyBliss.com

Jurlique Hand Care: This set offers a great value. Three different scents including Citrus, Rose and Lavender (30ml each) to uplift and relax you. Many of the natural ingredients are grown and extracted from Jurlique’s organic farm in Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Visit: Jurlique.com/hand-care-ritual-usa

Yes, more books! I believe we’re drawn to what we need…you know, when the student is ready, the teacher appears. These two books were brought to my attention and I’m just beginning them and wanted to include them in this Holiday Gift Guide because I think that they could be meaningful to others.

The Warrior Goddess Way by Heatherash Amara I’ve been in this tribe for several years and this is the first book by Heatherash that I’m reading as I felt drawn to her messaging in this new release. She says that this book is a ‘pathway to presence and a road to reclaiming all of you – your darkest fears and your most precious gifts’ and that speaks so loudly to me and I’m guessing many others. I just started this one so I’m hopeful that the ‘roadblocks will become doorways’ as she also mentions. Heatherash Amara also leads retreats and events. Visit: heatherashamara.com/store-2/

The Mind Illuminated by Culadasa (John Yates, PhD) and Matthew Immergut, PhD with Jeremy Graves Do you know someone that could truly benefit from Meditation? I would guess you do…we can all benefit from a meditation practice (in my opinion) and this could be a great gift for yourself, too. Culadasa is a neuroscientist and a master and teacher of Tibetan and Theravadin Buddhist traditions. This is a Meditation Guide broken down into ten stages, such as Establishing a Practice, How Mindfulness Works, and Subduing Subtle Distractions. I’m looking forward to learning more from Culadasa’s book and will be reviewing it in further detail on MindfulAdventures.com. Meditation is certainly an antidote from stress. Thank you for taking the time to go through this Mindful Holiday Gift Guide. All the gifts here will be remembered long after the ribbons and bows are put away. My hope is that the Spirit of Christmas and the joy and goodwill of this season will be as natural in June as it is in December. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy, healthy and adventurous New Year!
