Declarations of Interests in items on the agenda
Cllr Bethune declared a pecuniary interest in item 5(i) as her husband was involved in the application.
Cllr Smail declared a personal interest in items 5(f) as it was his neighbour’s property.
To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 10 November 2014 RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting held on 10 November 2014 be approved and signed by the chairman as a correct record. Cllr Sharp made comment of the committee’s decision at the previous meeting on application 14/02095/FUL.

The application is premature, given the work that is going on in preparing a Neighbourhood Plan.
The application is contrary to policy E1 of the local plan. With Olney expected to take up to 350 additional dwellings as part of the Core Strategy, employment land should be protected. It should be noted that we have already lost a significant area of employment land to housing.
The land has not been identified as possible housing site in the strategic housing land assessment.
Access to the site is close to a dangerous bend in the Yardley Road with poor visibility from the site.
