About course This three-day workshop focusses on monitoring and evaluation planning and practice in both humanitarian and development projects. The content of this workshop focusses mainly on key monitoring and evaluation activities as they appear throughout a project lifecycle; from needs assessment, to design, implementation and close-out. Intended audience This workshop is designed for those who have no or a basic understanding of project management and either limited or no exposure to monitoring and evaluation. It is not intended for those who already have significant monitoring and evaluation experience: • New monitoring and evaluation staff in humanitarian and development NGOs • Project staff; managers and officers • Other people who are involved or interested in monitoring and evaluation process field staff (both programs and monitoring and evaluation).

Trainer

Youssef Almustafa: Youssef Al-Mustafa is Co-founder of Trust Consultancy and Development and an M&E specialist. He has worked in many NGOs including GOAL, CARE, and Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) as an M&E specialist. In addition, Mr. Almustafa worked as a team member of many monitoring and evaluation teams in Turley and Syria. He gives training on many topics such as accountability, Sphere, monitoring, evaluation and needs assessment among others.
