11.5 Handicaps for Wednesday Fun Sail and Sunday Fun Sail will be allocated after a boat has completed its first race.

For Wednesday Fun Sail and Sunday Fun Sail races conducted under the Pursuit Race handicapping system, the following time adjustment changes will be made at the completion of each race – nd • 3 boats or more entered: 1st place + 3 minutes; 2 place + 2 minutes; 3rd place + 1 minute. Subtract 1 minute from all other starters on the day • 3 boats or less entered: 1st place + 1 minute only Handicaps for yachts that have started, but Did Not Finish, or yachts that did not a race, but are part of the series, will not change.

For Wednesday Fun Sail and Sunday Fun Sail races will be conducted under a Corrected Elapsed Time handicapping system, 3 boats or more must be entered to constitute a race and for handicaps to be adjusted.

Race scores will be as per Rule A9 with the last paragraph changed as follows. A boat that did not come to the starting area will be scored points for the finishing place one more than the number of boats entered in the series as of that race.

Boats that Did Not Come to the Start Area (DNC) will be scored points for the finishing place two more than the number of boats entered in the series as of that race. For yachts that have come to the Starting Area but Did Not Start (DNS), started but Did Not Finish (DNF) or, Retired (RET) will be scored points for the finishing place one more than the number of boats entered in the series as of that race.

(i) The boat owner may nominate one crew member for each series and may nominate the same crew member for more than one Series. (ii) Those crew nominated must be current financial members of the MYC. (iii) The nominations for each Series will be randomly drawn. (iv) A crew member can only win one Crew Participation Award for the Sailing Season. The Club Champion - total of series points excluding drops for Wharf Tavern Blue Water and The Surf Sail Series, Division 1 (Mono) and Division 3 (Multi).
