Training Plan Guide 1. Login to MRC-TRAIN (https://www.mrc.train.org). 2. Click on Administration in the navigation bar.

3. From the left-hand Manage Menu, select Courses, followed by Training Plan.

Creating a Training Plan 1. On the following screen, click the Add button. 2. On the Details Tab of the “Edit Training Plan” screen, you must enter a Training Plan Name and can add a Description. You can also set an automatic reminder to be sent a number of days prior to the deadline.

Please note: Items marked with a red asterisk are required. 3. To make this plan visible to learners, you will need to return to this screen and click Publish. 4. Click on the Visibility Tab and place a check in the checkbox to select your unit. 5. Click Save. Your Training Plan will now be visible on the Training Plan administration page.

Adding Courses to a Training Plan 1. Click on the Edit Components icon. 2. On the “Edit Training Plan Components” screen, click Add Section to create a new section (ex. Required). 

Please note: In order for subsections and courses to appear below a desired section, you must first highlight that section. Similarly, only highlighted courses/sections can be moved, edited, and deleted.

3. On the following screen, type the section name and select the type of section (i.e., all courses in section required, one course in section required, etc.), as well as the attribute for that section type, which will appear below the section types, and click Save.

4. To add a course, highlight the desired section, and click Add Course. In the “Add Courses to Training Plan” screen, you may search via Course ID or Keyword. 5. From the search results, select the courses you wish to add to your Training Plan and click Link Selected Courses.

6. To mark a course as required, check the checkbox and click Save and Back (see Optional section in the image at the top of this page). 7. Icons outlined by the rectangle on the Edit Training Plan Components image (top of page) allow a highlighted course or section to be moved up, moved down, edited, and deleted, respectively.

Assigning a Training Plan to Users 1. Click the Assign to Users icon ( ). Then, click Add More Users. 2. You can search by last name or enter a blank search for all user accounts in a highlighted group. 3. Check off the users you would like to assign the Training Plan to and click Add Selected Users. You have the option for setting a default Completion Date for all selected users or later individually setting a completion date.

Reviewing Training Plan Completion 1. In the “Training Plan by Users” screen (Assign to Users icon), each user’s status is shown and can be exported via the “Export” button. 2. In the Training Plan administration page, the total of completed users is shown. 3. In the Report Console page, a “Master Training Plan” report is available.
