The Institute has taken up various research projects in Ocean area. In order to carry out the research and development activities of the projects, the Institute is looking for Senior Research Fellow to engage through a walk-in-interview, the details of which are as follows:

The registration of the candidates will be opened from 9.00 a.m. till 10.30 a.m. Candidates appearing after 10.30 a.m. will not be interviewed. NIOT Campus is situated on the Velachary-Tambaram Main Road and it is about 10 km from Saidapet Bus Terminus from where regular Metro buses (5A,D51,M51,51B,51H,M51V,A51, etc. are plying (Bus Stop : Balaji Dental College) and 4 km from Velachery Metro rail terminus.

Essential : - M.Sc with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in Physical Oceanography / Physics / Oceanography and at least two years of post qualification research experience with atleast one publication in SCI Journal.
