Walk in interview for selection of 02 Library Apprentices for NISER Library There will be recruitment of two Library Apprentices for our Institute library. The selected candidates will get hands on experience of working in different section of the library and will have opportunity of working in a modern environment. The training programme will be as per the guidelines of Board of Apprenticeship/Practical Training (Eastern Region) Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Eligibility Candidates should have B.Lib & Inf Sc / M.Lib & Inf Sc / M.Sc in Library Science from a recognized university / institute. (Fresh degree in library science, result declared after Jan, 2011) Candidates should not have undergone any apprenticeship training. Work experience (if any) should not be more than one year. Science graduate with computer knowledge will be an added advantage Stipend: @ ` 5,000/- per month (Consolidated) Period of training: One year Date, Time and Venue of interview: 19 November, 2011 (Saturday) at 9.00 am in NISER Academic Building, Institute of Physics Campus, P.O-Sainik School, Bhubaneswar-751005 Candidates fulfilling the above criteria may appear for Walk in-interview for selection of Library Apprentices as per the above schedule. Candidates have to bring their Biodata, original and attested copies of certificates; mark sheets of all examination passed from matriculation onward, a passport size photograph. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview. Please note, that NISER don’t have any provision for residential accommodation. Selected candidates have to arrange their own accommodation to stay at Bhubaneswar.
