Q. What is Boot Camp fitness training?

611 East Sheridan Road Melbourne, FL 32901 321.434.7149

A. 4 week program limited to 10 participants, training 3 days a week which utilizes exercise programs and techniques developed by the military and our training specialists to optimize your fitness. The primary goal is to help you safely reach the highest level of fitness in the shortest amount of time. Our program consists of training 1 day a week for 45-60 minutes with a focus on total wellness. Q. What is a typical class like? A. No two workouts are exactly alike. In general, classes will start with warm-up exercises. Your workout will include cardiovascular, strength, core, coordination and sport-specific training, followed by a cool-down session taken from various disciplines of exercises (i.e.: running/walking, calisthenics, plyometrics, obstacle courses, stretching, Pilates, and yoga). Note: the first and last class of the cycle will be devoted to assessing and evaluating each participant. Q. Do I need any special equipment or clothes for Boot Camp? A. When you come to a Boot Camp session, you should bring your exercise mat, a bottle of water or sports drink, and a towel. You should wear comfortable exercise clothes: good supportive sneakers, shorts or jogging pants, and a T-shirt. Women should wear a sports bra appropriate for jogging or aerobics, and should bring hair clips to hold hair up, if desired. Training gloves are optional for those who want to protect their hands. Q. What kind of results may I expect? A. Your results will depend on you and your adherence to the program. If you stick with the program, you will realize significant and notable improvements in your endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination. You should also notice decreased body fat, loss of unwanted pounds and inches, better muscle tone, improved eating habits, more contoured physique, and many other healthful benefits. If you desire a specific protocol specifically for your needs, you may consult with our Boot Camp trainers for a personal program at an additional cost. Q. What fitness level are the classes? Will I fit in? A. All levels of reasonably healthy adults attend our Boot Camps. You will go at your own pace with an instructor/trainer encouraging and challenging you. If you have a good attitude and willingness to work hard, you will fit in! It is strongly encouraged that you consult your physician before beginning this program. If you have any pre-existing health conditions (ie: heart, respiratory, injury, operation, diabetes, etc.) that may worsen with vigorous exercise, a physician’s clearance is required prior to participating in this course.
