New District Office Opening in San Diego on February 27, 2012 Front Street and San Marcos Branch Operations will be consolidated into the New Office The State Board of Equalization (BOE) will be opening our new San Diego District Office on Monday, February 27, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. located at: San Diego District Office 15015 Avenue of Science, Suite 200 San Diego, California 92128 (858) 385-4700 The location offers free parking for taxpayers, easy freeway access, and a spacious Taxpayer Service Center, featuring self-service kiosks. Operations will move from 1350 Front Street, Suite 5047, San Diego, California, to the new site and the old office will close permanently on Friday, February 24, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. Operations will move from the San Marcos Branch Office located at 334 Via Vera Cruz, Suite 107, San Marcos, California, to the new San Diego site on Monday, February 27, 2012, and the old office will close permanently on Friday, February 24, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. The consolidation of the Front Street location and the San Marcos Branch Office into their new office location comes after much consideration as to its affect on taxpayers and is part of the BOE's continued efforts to operate more efficiently.
