Fort Denison New Years Eve 2015 Terms and Conditions Duration • The NYE 2015 dinner will be held on Fort Denison from approximately 6.45pm-12.45am. • The start & finish times of the NYE 2015 event are at the discretion of Fort Denison/TE Catering. Dress Code • This event occupies one of the premier locations in the world and as such you are asked to follow a ‘Black Tie’ dress code. • Fort Denison/TE Catering reserves the right to refuse entry to the venue if suitable attire is not worn. Transfers • Guest return transfer is included from Circular Quay, departing at 6.30pm and returning at approximately 12:45am. • Should Circular Quay be deemed unsuitable closer to the date, TE Catering reserves the right to change this location for both transfers to and from the island. You will be notified in the first possible instance of any changes. • The departure and return wharf and the time of transfers for the NYE 2015 event are at the discretion of Fort Denison/TE Catering. Please note that alternate collection and drop off points are at your expense. • The transfer vessel will dock just before departure times for guests to board. Fort Denison/TE Catering will not take responsibility for guests missing these transfers. • Sydney Harbour is incredibly busy on New Year’s Eve and all movements on the Harbour are under the strict control of the NSW Maritime. As such Fort Denison/TE Catering cannot be held responsible for any delays in your transfers either to or from the island. • Fort Denison is in the centre of the fireworks exclusion zone. Late comers who miss the transfer boat may not be able to gain access to Fort Denison. TE Catering accepts no responsibility in such instances. Bookings/Ticket price • The ticket price is $1,250.00 per person inclusive of gst. • A booking is confirmed on receipt of the completed signed booking form, minimum 50% deposit and Terms & Conditions signed by you on each page. • We regret that we cannot offer any concessions for children under the age of 18 years. Seating Allocation / Floor Plans • Table allocations / configurations will be at the discretion of Fort Denison/TE Catering. There will be a limited number of varying table sizes including tables for 2 guests. • All tables will be sold on a “first in, first served basis”. • Table are sold on a maximum capacity basis. Should your preferred table size be sold out, you may be required to pay for the maximum numbers that any available tables can accommodate. • Share tables will be available for purchase should your desired table configuration not be available at time of booking. Cancellations • The full deposit fee is forfeited for cancellations from time of ticket purchase.

Menu Selections • All menu selections are subject to availability of produce and we reserve the right to vary menu items at any time prior to the event. • You must notify us of any dietary requirements by 30th October, 2015. After this date there is no guarantee that appropriate meals will be available especially if requested on the night of the event. • The menu comprises savoury canapés on arrival, a four course dinner in the marquee, a selection of cheeses and fruits on the Battery Lawn. Tea/coffee with petit fours will also be offered. Beverage • Premium wines will be provided to include French champagne, white and red wines along with local and imported beers. Non alcoholic beverages are also included. • House spirits are also available throughout the night at an additional cost • The beverage selection will be at the discretion of Fort Denison Restaurant/TE Catering. • The menu and alcohol are supplied as part of a package cost, and this remains our property throughout the evening until actually consumed. In such cases, Fort Denison/TE Catering regrets we are unable to provide you with any food or beverage remaining. Responsible Service of Alcohol • Fort Denison Restaurant practices Responsible Service of Alcohol. Tickets • All guests will be issued with a ticket, including transfer details for the night. This will be mailed to the postal address provided on the booking form. It is your responsibility to provide updated postal address details in the event that you have relocated. • Ticket mail out will occur in December. • We regret that no changes can be made to these transfer times. • Where ever required TE Catering will arrange to deliver your tickets to your hotel providing we are notified prior to the Friday 4th December 2015. Payment Procedure • Bookings are secured by your payment of 50% deposit. • The balance of your payment made by credit card is due by 14th September 2015. This amount will be automatically deducted from the authorised credit card supplied for the deposit. If your card has expired or changed since the deposit payment, it is your responsibility to make your final payment by the due date to avoid your tickets being forfeited and resold. • Balance payments made by Electronic Funds Transfer are due by 16th September 2015, if not received in full prior. • Fort Denison /TE Catering reserves the right to on sell your tickets should the balance of payment not be received by 28th September 2015. • Payments are accepted via credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express) or direct deposit. • Credit card payments will incur a 3.5% fee (Diners, EFTPOS or Debit Cards are not accepted) • Any tickets purchased on or after 14th September 2015 will require payment in full. • In the case of additional bank charges incurred as a result of payments made in currency other than Australian Dollars, these charges are additional to the balance owed by you. Smoking Policy • There is a designated outdoor smoking area located on Fort Denison which is situated on the forecourt. Smoking is not permitted on the Battery Lawn. Limitation of liability • Fort Denison/TE Catering will take all necessary care but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of your property prior to, during and after the NYE 2015 event. You will be financially responsible for any loss or damage caused by you to the building(s), furniture, fittings, and any equipment. Access to the island / Extreme Weather Conditions • Sydney Harbour is controlled by NSW Maritime. In extreme circumstances they may deem Sydney Harbour unsafe for travel and their decision is final. Fort Denison/TE Catering will not accept any responsibility nor are we obligated to find an alternate venue in the highly unlikely event this should occur. • Should a severe weather warning be issued for Sydney Harbour by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology we reserve the right to cancel any form of water transportation if the Captain of your charter vessel deems it unsafe to travel either to or from Fort Denison for your New Year’s Eve event. • Fort Denison/TE Catering accepts no liability in such circumstances if there are dust storms, hail storms, torrential rain, flooding, high tides, and gale force winds. • Should the weather be inclement on the day/night of the NYE 2015 event Fort Denison/TE Catering reserves the right to change the pre-dinner drinks schedule and location thereof. • Fort Denison/TE Catering recommends that you consider these facts before securing your booking. No refunds will be given in any of the above circumstances. Event Confirmation • To confirm your booking we require a signed copy of this document, 50% deposit or your payment in full, and the completed signed booking form.
