NIBCO Water and Ice Park to close for season ELKHART (February 16, 2018) – With warmer temperatures in the forecast, Mayor Tim Neese is inviting residents to visit NIBCO Water and Ice Park before the park officially closes for the season beginning Monday, February 19. The park will be open this weekend during the following hours: Friday, February 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, February 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; and Sunday, February 18 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission and skate rental fees apply. During the 2017-2018 season, the ice park was open for 42 days and was utilized by approximately 4,950 children and adults. Mayor Neese and the city of Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department are grateful for all who visited this year and hope to see even more skaters utilize this downtown amenity next season. -30-
