The Incident Command Post has relocated to Broken Arrow Campground at Diamond Lake. **Note new fire information phone number.** Smoke will impact air quality and visibility throughout the region, causing unhealthy conditions in the fire area. Status: Steep terrain, along with standing snags from the 2008 Middle Fork Fire, prevents direct fireline construction in the Red Blanket Creek drainage. Aircraft will continue to monitor the southern side of the fire and drop water to slow fire progression. Suppression repair continues on the west side of the fire. Handlines and dozer lines will be covered with native material and regraded to return it to a natural appearance. There is a low probability for the fire to spread, and crews continue to patrol for hot spots and monitor the northern perimeter. SHERWOOD FIRE (formerly Roseburg Fire) - Cause: Under investigation Size: 65 Acres Location: Approximately six miles west of Diamond Lake near Sherwood Butte.

Status: Fire continues to back down toward Abbott Creek. Small fires from the neighboring Falcon Complex may merge with the Broken Lookout Fire. Morning infrared flights show fire may be at 800 acres, but data is still being evaluated.
