NEWS RELEASE December 11th, 2015 Cenovus supports Bruderheim Christmas Hamper The Town of Bruderheim once again expresses gratitude to its new community partner, Cenovus Energy. The company pledged $3,000 to Bruderheim’s Christmas Hamper campaign, presenting the check at their December 10th Open House, at which they also encouraged people to bring non-perishable items for the program. “Words cannot convey our gratitude for this contribution,” says Bruderheim Mayor, Karl Hauch. “We are expecting more applications this year with the economic slowdown. Cenovus is truly committed to being a supportive neighbour to our community.” Historically, hampers have been distributed to between 20 and 30 families. This year, the Bruderheim Fire Department will deliver the packages on December 19th, between noon and 2:00 p.m. The Town is very thankful for all of the supporters that make this possible. “Cenovus’ generous donation will help to ensure that no family will go without during this festive and holy season,” adds Councillor Pat Lee. “Once again, they have shown their commitment to participate and engage with our community.”
