We hope that 2012 got off to a great start for everyone and that it proves to be a successful year for all. Looking forward, this year will see our new Manufacturing feature released, continued Version 7 conversions and more seminars, to name just a few things.

Reports & Layouts The OrderWise Reports and Layouts Team are here to help you with any reporting requirements you may have and will happily advise and quote on any custom reports you may require in both OrderWise Version 6 and Version 7. Version 6 Users - The team will happily talk to you about commissioning new reports. If you’re planning to convert to V7 in the near future it will be worth speaking with your Account Manager first as V6 reports are not compatible with V7. The Importance Of Backups It is essential that everyone should have a regular backup routine and don’t forget to backup your accounts package too! As OrderWise and your accounts package are integrated, it’s important to back them up at the same time and should you ever need to restore your data, appropriate backups from the same point in time should be used. Should something unexpected occur on your network or server, you could risk damage to, or even loss of your data. Restoring a backup will be the quickest and most cost efficient way of getting back up and running. This month has seen us welcome more new faces to the growing OrderWise Team. As OrderWise and its number of users continue to grow, our continued expansion program has seen new staff join us across various departments, both growing our teams and laying the foundations for future developments.

Three New Support Technicians Our commitment to providing OrderWise users with the best support sees us enter 2012 with three new people joining the existing Support Team. First to join us were our new apprentices, Greg Downey and Scott Wells, who enjoyed an induction week with us at the end of 2011, before starting their OrderWise training with all of our other new colleagues on the 3rd January. In addition to learning OrderWise inside out, Greg and Scott are working towards NVQs in Customer Service, with a focus on delivering first class support and customer care to OrderWise users. Also joining our Support Team is Alex Liggett. A graduate in Computing and Business Information Systems, Alex brings an excellent customer service background to the team. We are also looking forward to a fourth new Support Technician joining us in February. Two New Testers OrderWise is continually being developed as Version 7 grows and new features are introduced into the system. Testing is a key part of all the development and this January we expanded our Testing Team when we welcomed Sam Donaghey and

Ken Garner. Sam is a recent math's graduate and Ken joins with a background in the accounting industry. We also have our new Head of Testing joining us soon. A New Developer At the end of October 2011 the Development Team welcomed Jonathon Campbell-Jones. Jonathon is an experienced programmer and will assist the rest of the developers in the team in creating the new features for OrderWise. Sales Team Andrew Cheney joins us in the role of Referrer Network Coordinator, looking after and building new relationships with our existing and new referrers. Account Management Team The Account Management Team is one of the newest departments here at OrderWise. Since its inception, it has gone from strength to strength providing advice and consultancy, coordinating Version 7 conversions and much more to our many customers. ...moved across to the Sales Team. We are now in the process of recruiting a further two Account Managers. One of the positions is to increase the size of the team, one is to replace Amanda Hatton.

OrderWise Went Pink!

Baby Boom At OrderWise!

Here at OrderWise we always like to do our bit to support a good cause and when one of our Project Coordinators, Ali Lovegrove decided to dye her hair seriously pink in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month back in October, we decided to support her! We all donated £2 to wear pink for the day. Even if they didn’t fancy wearing pink, the guys still joined in by donating to wear casual clothing. Staff baked cakes, cookies and all sorts of delicious treats that were then sold with all of the money raised donated to the good cause.

It’s not just new staff we have been welcoming at OrderWise recently. We’ve also been celebrating news of some smaller, somewhat more adorable arrivals!

Congratulations to our Client Services and Training Manager Jez Flowers and his lovely wife Lucy, who is a tester at OrderWise, on the arrival of baby Niamh Isabelle.

The proceeds from this day came in at £260 and Ali raised over £800 in total! Well done Ali!

With OrderWise eCommerce and associated web development (subject to the capabilities of your eCommerce system), you’ll see new orders and customers automatically appearing in OrderWise minutes after an order is placed on your website. Discounts and voucher codes are supported. The module synchronises stock levels and product pricing between OrderWise and your website with support for price lists. Notifications are sent to your website once an order has been despatched in OrderWise. It also allows you to create new products and update descriptions and supporting text of existing ones. Scott joined OrderWise early last year as part of our Support Team. He completed his intensive three month training course and became a fully - fledged member of the team, taking his first call in May. The Support Team provide solutions to customers requiring help with, or experiencing difficulties with their OrderWise system. As a Technical Support Advisor, Scott's role involves providing excellent and professional customer service to clients, whilst also resolving their issue in the quickest, most efficient way possible. Scott's main responsibilities include calling customers who have logged a support call, answering customer questions and queries and handling customer data in order to diagnose the cause of the particular problem they have. An average day in the Support Team involves constant contact with customers, both on the telephone and via email. Time is also spent liaising with other departments in order to achieve the desired outcome for the customer.

When Scott gets to work in the morning he makes himself a cup of tea to prepare for the day ahead and then begins to check the status of any issues he has been dealing with. He checks his emails, assigning any new customer questions to the support queue and prioritising them as needed. Scott then gets started on his first call of the day. Scott says the best part of his job is interaction and bonding with the customers; he has developed friendships

with many customers! He also prides himself on taking ownership of the call and dealing with it as efficiently as possible in order to save the customer valuable business time. The worst part, Scott says is the frustration when the customer has a more complex problem that can’t be fixed during the initial call and requires repeat calls and input from other departments. Scott previously worked in a similar role at another software company who develop software for the healthcare industry.
