Instructions: Step 1: Print out the image on pg.4 of this activity sheet. Then take a pair of scissors and cut out the stars and moon, following the dotty lines as a guide. Step 2: Now take your sheet of tracing paper and cut it to the same size as your print out. Then stick the tracing paper to the back of the paper, smoothing it out to keep it nice and flat.
Step 3: Take the lid off your shoe box. On the inside base of the lid, use your ruler to draw a border 1-2cm thick. Now use the retractable knife to cut along the lines creating a rectangular hole on the inside of the shoe box lid. Step 4: Take your shoe box lid and paste glue around the border on the inside. Now take your starry scene paper and place it face down in the shoe box lid so that the edges of the paper stick to the gluey edge. The paper should cover the hole in the shoe box lid with the image facing outwards.
Step 5: Now you and your Bingster can get crafty decorating your box however you like. How about using some star-shaped stickers and glitter to give your nightlight a magical bedtime feel?
Step 6: When your Bingster has finished decorating the box, take a torch or set of battery powered fairy lights and place them inside the shoe box. Then pop the lid on and turn the lights out. The picture of Bing and Flop should be all lit up.
