Arnold in memory of his son Zach; Knox County senior who has been a member of the golf team for at least 2 years; 3.25 GPA required; 2 letters of recommendation (1 from the golf coach or athletic director and 1 from someone unrelated and who is not a member of the Knox County Community Foundation board. McKinley Avenue Presbyterian Church Student Scholarship An annual scholarship created by the McKinley Avenue Presbyterian Church student scholarship fund committee; senior from Knox County demonstrating financial need, academic performance, school and extra-curricular activities and essay; statement of aspirations and educational goals (not to exceed two typewritten double spaced pages; completion of the Financial Assistance Questionnaire.

Velma & Herbert Pepmeier Scholarship An annual scholarship created by Herbert Pepmeier; graduation senior affiliated with St. John’s United Church of Christ in Vincennes or the Bethel Church in Freelandville; selection is based on applicant’s success in overcoming difficult circumstances, a history of working hard to achieve aspirations and goals, and financial need; statement of perseverance (not to exceed 2 typewritten double spaced pages) describing the challenges faced in order to pursue past and or future aspirations and goals; 2 letters of recommendations from individual who are unrelated to the applicant who are not foundation board members that support the applicant’s ability to overcome challenges and obstacles; completion of the Financial Assistance Questionnaire is required.
