with at least 50% marks in the subject concerned in the Post Graduate Degree examination from a recognized University for appoinhent of 409(four hundred and nine) Lecfurers on contract basis. The number of posts may be increased or decreased from time to time as per requirement of the Government. The number of Lecfurers for respective subjects & reservations and list of Higher Secondary Schools are appended in the Annemre. 2. The appointnent shall be purely on Contract basis for the period from the date of possessing Post Graduate Degree
contract agreement upto 28/2/2019 as per regulation prescribed by the Government 3. , Th"y shall be paid a remuneration of Rs 13,700/-(Rs. 9300+ GP: Rs M00/ -) per month as fixed by FD(PIC). 4. The upper age lirnit for the candidates shall be 38 years as on1,/7/2018. Age limit shall be relaxable by 3 years for OBC Candidates and 5 years for ST/SC Candidates. For P\A/D Candidates also, additional relaxation as perrnissible r:nder prevailing Govern:nent norms shall apply5. The mode of selection for engagement of eligible candidates as lecturers on contract shall be on the basis of written test and personal interview/viva voce with weightage of 80% and20% respectively. Shortlisted candidates for Personal lnterview shall be in the ratio of L:5 of the vacancy. The subject wise syllabi for written test is also uploaded in the website. 6. The appoinbnent is school specific and non-transferrable. Allotrnent of school for appointunent shall be done by counseling based on merit and preferences of the candidate. 7. The duly filled application form along with relevant documents duly attested /selIattested for the post of Lecturers on contract basis should be submitted to the office of the Director, Education(S), Lamphelpat on or before L3/l20tg (Friday) along with application fees of Rs.500/- for General and OBC, Rs 400/- for SC and ST during office hours on working days. 8. This Notification is uploaded in the Deparhnent's Official Website www.manipureducation.gov.in for general information. 9. Scheme of examinatioru Date of Written Test shall be notified separately.
