Dear CW Families, I won’t be sending out a Friday eNews next week since it is only a two day week for our students. Therefore, I wanted to give my thanks to all of you. Our students are able to thrive at CW because of your work and support as a family. I appreciate all you have done for your child! I hope everyone has an enjoyable Thanksgiving break! • Please come to CW’s Board of Education Meeting: CW is honored to host
the November 21 FHPS Board of Education Meeting at 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to share our story with the entire district. We have a group of students in a Project Based Learning experience developing CW’s presentation for the meeting. They had to answer the question, “How do we highlight CW?” They won’t let me see the final product until the Board Meeting. If you have a 1/2 hour that night, I am confident you will be impressed with our students Presentation of Learning!
• Thanksgiving Break: Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on November 23-25.
• 1/2 Day of School on December 2nd: School will be dismissed at 11:55 a.m. on that day to allow for our teachers to collaborate on professional learning
• Most Likely to Succeed: FHPS is hosting another showing of this
inspirational movie. High Tech High in San Diego is featured for their PBL focus on Deeper Learning. I was able to visit the school last year and it has been a driving force in what CW is doing. I would love to see as many CW parents attend to we can become a driving force for Deeper Learning in our district. See this link for more information: Most Likely to Succeed
• CW BAND: Students received a Progress Report in band class this week.
Please ask your child. Upcoming Concert: Monday, December 5th at Central High School Auditorium. 6:30 PM Students arrive in the CHS band room. 7:00 PM Concert begins. Students should wear FHC Music T-Shirt & dark pants or Khaki's
